As many of you already know, we have a streamlined system to handle everything headgear-related, but a proper explanation is in order.
1. Prontera Princess and Kawaii Coins
Prontera Princess is a NPC located inside Item Mall map, which you can reach through teleporter or a NPC in Prontera.
The services she offers are:
- Shop that sells a wide array of headgears, only Kawaii Coins are accepted as currency.
- Headgear preview option, all you have to do is input the ID. This works with any headgear, not just those she sells.
Kawaii Coins can be obtained from the following sources:
- All monsters above level 124 drop them at a very low chance
- All MvPs drop bags containing Kawaii Coins, the amount of coins those bags contain and drop chances are based on MvP's level, with certain exceptions
- Automated Events
- Staff hosted events
- Lockboxes
- By exchanging Leika Points at Leika Manager, also located inside the Item Mall map

2. Costume Magician
Located inside Item Mall map, she can turn any headgear into costumed version for the modest cost of 500,000 zeny.
Costumed headgears carry no bonuses and cards, have no weight and all their Job and level limitations are lifted, and are also account-bound.
