Ofc it was. Just because something isn't politically correct/comomnly approved doesn't mean jokes about it aren't funny. If it truly wasn't funny, you wouldn't even post it. But on the other hand your own work also isn't funny (or I just don't get context because I don't know this anime).

Yeah, because if someone disagrees with you it MUST mean he isn't serious. Ever laughed when someone slipped on the ice? Have you ever slipped on the ice? It isn't funny for the victim, but it is for everyone else as long as there's no real damage. When real injury appears, fun is over, but pics and words don't cause injuries.

In pic you posted it's extreme disproportion between child and giant guys, in the one I just posted it's extremely unlikely event.
