You don't need to know people for yeard to do stuff like this. For past few years I've been playing in guilds where roster was constantly being shuffled, lot of people were quitting, lot of people were joining, and we've done many amazing things. All you need is decent skill (so you basically have to git gud), dedication to get decent gears and a plan. Bonus points for VOIP.

Also prontera has its own refiner. You don't have to leave pront to upgrade items. Just in case you didn't know.

Some people create more than one character and dual client, playing one character and leaving the other one in prontera.
