Event on Trial: "Polar Bear Day"
"What have I done to deserve this" ‒ Solarljod
Hai. You thought I was done with events? Well, think twice. I'm still around, and this time I have an event that we want to test out and see if we can make it permanent.
Did you know?
Solarljod is a particular creature commonly seen sitting in Prontera. Records indicate that Solarljord has been known as "Solar, the Polar Bear" since May 27, 2016. Throughout the time, it has become a tradition for some particular players to celebrate "Polar Bear Day" every Friday of the week, on which Solarljord is "kindly asked" to wear a hat that resembles polar bear ears and recently a Polar Bear Cap. The reason behind this pet name is unknown but based on the evidence, it is believed that Solarljord is another victim of "Tame-a-Friend".
EVENT SPECIFICS:
In honor of our lovely Solarljord, we will celebrate Solar Abuse Day Polar Bear Day on...
- every first Friday of the month and
- we ask participants to wear either
Ear Muffs (1 point) or 
Polar Bear Cap (2 points ‒ this hat can be purchased at Prontera Princess).
Depending on the points collected by participants, a number of MVP will be summoned to take revenge against those who provoke the cute-all-mighty Polar Bear.
Lastly, this is the Summoning Ladder that we will follow for now:
- 4 points = 1 MVP • 8 points = 2 MVPs • 12 points = 3 MVPs
- Example: 2 players with Ear Muffs + 1 player with Polar Bear Cap = 4 points = 1 MVP
Note that the max cap of summoning is 3 MVPs, that being said, summoning won't be repeatable once that cap has been reached on that day. So if you wonder if you missed the event or not, please refer to the event record that will be posted in this thread.
PLEASE NOTE:
- This event is on trial, meaning the "Event Specifics" might get twitched here and there before we decide to make it an official or seasonal event.
- Event will depend on staff's availability; and as usual, we will make an announcement 15 to 30 minutes before the beginning.
Our first Polar Bear Day is this upcoming Friday August 5th, 2016.
So get your hat ready to show some affection to Polar Bear!
