Soul Breaker being forced neutral

Soul Breaker element does not seem to carry over from weapons/endows/anything at all, and appears to be force neutral. Tested Soul Breaker on Whispers (Ghost 3) and it missed 100% of the time regardless of weapon and endow, including an Immaterial Sword. Soul Breaking other monsters of varying element also produces the same results for me. Using Soul Breaker on an undead monster with a fire weapon does the same damage as Soul Breaker with any other element.

I can find no evidence that Soul Breaker is supposed to function like this, anywhere. First search result for Renewal Soul Breaker produces , showing Soul Breaker being used to kill a Ghost 3 monster (Gloom Under Night).

It's pretty obvious it's supposed to carry element, although I admit I don't know the exact formula/interaction after renewal changes.

Edit: this is actually Neryth posting this, forgot to sign out of my friend's account.

I just remembered that pre-renewal, the INT portion of Soul Breaker was non-elemental and would hit anything regardless of flee/property. Renewal Soul Breaker works off of MATK instead of INT, but the fact that it's missing suggests that the non-elemental portion of the damage is no longer functioning. I'm unsure if that's intended or not.

Skill is set to take weapon's element right now, gonna investigate further later.

Just posting again to note that it's still pretty much useless at the moment since it misses entirely on Ghost 3 & 4 regardless of your weapon element. The MATK portion is always supposed to hit, too.

Uhh, right now the ATK portion of the skill that takes weapon element is hitting ghost 3/4 so that part is fixed, as it isn't pseudoneutral anymore. However, the MATK portion is still bugged and missing on ghost 3/4 when it has always been "Element-less" damage, meaning it is unaffected by any element interaction and does 100% to everything, including ghost 3/4. This part is still not working. It is never supposed to miss either, I haven't tested that here yet.
Soul Breaker 10 on Nightmare with no Element: Miss
Soul Breaker 10 on Nightmare with Assassin Dagger: ~2,800-3,000 damage(ATK portion)
Soul Breaker 10 on Ghoul with Assassin Dagger (-50% on Undead 2): ~1900 damage (MATK portion)

After looking into it more, Renewal changed Soul Breaker to completely ignore flee meaning the ATK portion never misses(!)

If Soul Breaker works properly the cast time reduction on Leika will probably need to be partially reverted.
