Effect matching event keep restarting randomly

So I was trying out effect matching for the first time and it kept restarting at seemingly random. It could happen after a few seconds or right at the end. By restarting i mean that all 'eggs' reset, the effects plays once again and all lifes and the time is restored. My character did not get teleported to the center however. It restarted for about 15-25 times before i was finally able to run out of lives and exit the place. While being teleported out I also crashed on the loading screen, not sure if that is related though. My guess is that it resets when another player tries to enter but get denied because theres already someone playing.
