Overview

Bios Island was released as part of the Episode 14.3 content. Once players complete the Dimensional Travel quest, they will be able to access Bios Island.
After players successfully complete this instance once, they will unlock the ability to access Mors' Cave, another instance released in Episode 14.3.

This instance is pretty straighforward, you must progress through the first two islands, defeating all the monsters, until eventually confronting Ankou and the armies of undead he had raised.

Background and Lore

Grim Reaper Ankou created the Bios Island to conduct biological experiments upon the living. The place is located in a pocket dimension and doesn't abide by normal rules of nature.
The flow of time here is sped up and one day equals a lifetime. However, it seems like Ankou is selective about who is affected by this condition and lets adventurers off the hook,
perhaps for personal amusement.

As the day advances, monsters grow up older and stronger, eventually becoming undead lackeys of Ankou once the Moon is high.
The purpose of this experiment is unclear and you must find out what's going on. If this process is used to create troops for Morroc, the expedition may not be able to do anything at all.

Inside the instance, you meet Vrid and Zeith, two curious adventurers, they give chase to Ankou until you meet again on the final island. Althought unable to help you during the fight, Vrid had picked something valuable and will pass it to you once Ankou was dealt with.

Tips

Grim Reaper Ankou fights alone but he's a tricky and deadly one. Pay attention to his shouts as they indicate the skill being used and if he's under the effect of Power Up or Speed Up, which alternate through the fight.
Avoiding his Comet spell by running away or interrupting it is imperative, and you must be ready for the "execution" combo which targets a random party member with Dark Illusion followed up by a devastating Dark Claw
which will kill most characters. Quick movement and repositioning is required. There's also a constant stream of area skills such as Hell's Judgement and Wide Blood Drain as well inflicting Sleep, Silence and Curse.
The tank will be debuffed with Bleeding and Poison often so having Slow Poison and Cure Free at hand will make the healing much easier.
Ankou also spends a large portion of the fight invisible, so area spells and revealing skills are required.
