Overview

Kill stealing, abbreviated to "KSing" or "KS", is when a player kills a monster that does not "belong" to them-- when someone else is attempting to kill it or that monster is attacking another player. Kill stealing is highly frowned upon and repeated kill stealing may result in disciplinary action from the administrative staff.

Gravity Interactive officially categorizes Kill Stealing under Harassment. There is a threshold for determining if a player is kill stealing or harassing other players. It is not uncommon for mistakes to happen. If a player walks up to a monster that another player is attacking and hits that monster once or twice, it is usually not considered to be kill stealing, especially if it happens once or twice. A person who repeatedly attacks monsters that other players are attacking may be considered kill stealing.

To successfully report another player for kill stealing, a player needs to be able to prove that the kill stealing has been repeated. Having multiple screenshots of the offending player attacking monsters that other players are fighting in a few separate instances, and having before and after screenshots of the offending player attacking said monsters, helps the administrative staff determine if the offending player is actually kill stealing and how to appropriately handle the situation.
