Rebellion is a high-damage inflicting class with some unique damage mitigating skills that makes you harder to kill than other long ranged classes. Having different weapons to choose from, each has its own way to play! So pick your gun, aim and fire!

(This guide will be edited as ideas/experience come in)

I'll be straight forward on this guide as listed,

-General things to know/do as a Rebel
-Best Weapon for each type
-Builds for each Weapon/Gear

General Things to Know

- Always use the correct bullet element for maximum DPS.
- Most of Gunslinger/ Rebellion skills has been highly modified/customized, take the time to read it all!
- Rebellion's weapons naturally give High WATK and ATK scaling of offensive skills are very high, with that idea in mind, you can build your equipment with much more resistances than just focus on damage stacking.
- It's MANDATORY to get the following supportive skills; Fling, Increasing Accuracy, Adjustment, Rich's Coin, Platinum Alter, Crimson Marker.
- Always Fling the enemy you are dealing damage on, except when using Mass Spiral as dps.
- Keep Platinum Alter/ Adjustment up all the time to increase survivability
- Platinum Alter's shield scales with VIT, the higher your VIT the stronger the damage absortion shield is.
- You can't stack the Damage bonus of Platinum Alter to Madness Canceller / Heat Barrel as they cancel each other out, BUT the shield stays.
- Treat Madness Canceller (MC) as a lesser version of Heat Barrel (HB). Madness ROOTS you for the duration (Can be canceled) while HB applies a special status that is undispellable when canceled/weapon swap/disarmed called Rebound. (Prevents attacking/ skill usage/ item usage for 10 seconds. Basically, you're a sitting duck! Quack Quack!)
- Grenade Launcher has the highest HIT bonus out of all guns.
- Here in Leika, Chain Action can be toggled on or off! Revolvers naturally double attack.
- Eternal Chain makes all gun types to double attack!
- Crimson Marker reduces enemy flee by 10%, use it on high-flee targets/mvps. Did you know that it also marks the mob in the mini map? Your party members can see it as well! Useful for finding specific mobs/ mvps!
- Fling debuff goes through even if it misses! Useful in breaking Kaupe'd enemies.
- The higher your ASPD the faster your cast animation will be. Applies to all Gunslinger/Rebellion skills.
- Banishing Buster and Shattering Storm dispel/ equipment break only works when it successfully hits.
- You MUST make sure that the marked enemy is inside the cast area (4x4 cells) of Hammer of God (HoG). Otherwise nothing will happen.
- Platinum Shield comes first before Kyrie Eleison.
- Flicker reveals enemies in a 5x5 area.
- Disarm helps by reducing the outcoming damage of mobs/mvps, use this to help your party members! Especially the tank!
- Out of bullets? Magical Bullet requires no ammo! Uses 1 sphirit sphere per cast.
- You have enough skill points to use 2-3 weapons! Thats right! You really are the GRAND ARSENAL!
- Quick Draw Shot only uses 10 sp for each cast regardless of the amount of the targets marked by Crimson Marker.
- Bind Trap is one of the strongest movement impairing traps in game. The damage is only applied on enemies inside the trap.
- A fully stacked Ground Drift can detonate all at once if the enemy is immune to Knock Back.

Best Weapon for each type

REVOLVER
- Altea & Ares [1]: Best for overall use
- Guns & Roses [2]: Best for desperado build due to Platinum Alter cooldown reduction of 4 seconds.
- Infinity Revolvers [1]: Highest dps for revolver for Quick Draw Shot.

RIFLE
- RAG203 [1]: Best for overall use
- Exodus Joker XIII [1]: Best for HoG. Mostly for weapon swapping only to use HoG
- Infinity Rifle [1]: Best for Critical Build (Piercing Shot) and Tracking Build

SHOTGUN
- Infinity Shotgun [1]: Best for overall use especially for Slug Shot.
- Death fire [1]: Highest WATK shotgun in game, best when over-refined. Good luck hitting on this one.
- Peace Breaker [2]: Expensive, good only because it has 2 slots and is a lvl 4 weapon.
- Rolling Thunder [1]: Cheapest Best overall use. Highly advised to over-refine. Only shotgun that gives MATK bonus.

GATLING GUN
- Tempest [1]: Best for overall use but expensive as hell.
- Infinity Gatling Gun [1]: Cheaper to get than Tempest [1]

GRENADE LAUNCHER
- Southern Cross [1]: Best for overall use but expensive as hell.
- End of the Horizon [1]: Best when over-refined.
- Infinity Grenade Launcher [1]: Useful only with good enchantments.

Note Section:
Best Enchants for Infinity Weapons for Rebellion is Expert Archer (EA).

Revolvers

Desperado - A Modified LDR% build is highly suggested, Mandatory Royal Marksman's Cuirass for the armor's passive to combo with adjustment to receive a total of 40% damage reduction to physical and magical damage. You can change the garment into Nidhoggur's Shadow Garb with Exploration Rover Card, Raydric Card or any of the Elemental Resistance Cards. Max Desperado, Fire Dance, Fallen Angel. The DPS of this build is greatly boosted with Poem of Bragi.
Combo: Fallen Angel > Fire Dance > Desperado for maximum utilization of skill cast animation/ cast delay

Quick Draw Shot - You can either use LDR% or CAB build for this. Mandatory to use Infinity Revolvers [1] with EA enchantments. Quick Draw Shot can only be used right after a Chain Action proc. Also triggers on Crimson Marked Targets! Continuous usage drains sp fast, highly recommended to have Service for You. The DPS of this build is greatly boosted with Poem of Bragi.

Rapid Shower - LDR% Build, Sp Intensive. The DPS of this build is greatly boosted with Poem of Bragi.

Rifle

Piercing Shot - The main reason of the CB. Modified in LeikaRO to CRIT and follow CRIT Damge %. Mandatory use of Infinity Rifle [1] with EA enchantments. High ASPD is advised to achieve cast animation efficiency/ spammability. The Critical Hits landed by Piercing Shot goes through Neutral Barrier.

Tracking - Requires LDR% Build and Temporal Boots of Dexterity for the 0.5 Cast Time Reduction. Mandatory use of Infinity Rifle [1] with EA enchantments. Continuous usage drains sp fast, highly recommended to have Service for You. The DPS of this build is greatly boosted with Poem of Bragi. You can actually cast this skill instantly without animation! It's hilarious! Just use Lvl 2 Tracking with Temporal Boots of Dexterity!

Mass Spiral - LDR% and requires Full Metal Jacker (FMJ) Catalyst each cast. Golden Rule: Efficient Damage = IF enemy def >= 500, THEN use. WARNING: DO NOT USE FLING WHEN USING MASS SPIRAL AS DPS.

Anti-Material Blast - Treat this the same as Fling, use it everytime for additional damage.

Hammer of God - LDR%/ CB/ CAB whatever. It has very high ATK scaling so it can be used on all types of builds. Recommended to swap to Exodus Joker XIII Rifle on each use for maximum damage output. High damage AoE skill, follows bullet element for damage. Requires Crimson Marked Target. The cast area of HoG is 4x4 cells.

Shotgun

Shattering Buster - LDR% Build. A deadly combination of Shattering Storm & Banishing Buster having a chance to destroy/ disarm/ dispel the enemy hit.

Slug Shot - LDR% Build. The Solo MVP killer skill. Also known as the "Long Ranged Asura Strike". Can 1 shot mvps/ high tier mobs/ players when the right conditions are met. Has a chance to miss the farther you cast it. Highly advised to have high HIT or Reduce enemy FLEE as much as possible. Best used with Infinity Shotgun [1] with EA enchantments.

Full Buster - LDR% Build. High single target damage. Only fun with Poem of Bragi. Uses ammo so fast, faster than Usain Bolt.

Magical Bullet - LDR% or modify it with MATK Gears/Cards. For fun only build. Has potential when used with the right elemental bullet. Even though monsters take additional damage based on their base level, it is still mediocre damage and is outdamaged by other skills. Use it as a final resort when out of bullets or to pierce thru Illusionary Shadow or Cast-off Cicada Shell. Best used with Rolling Thunder [1] because of the MATK bonus it gives or Infinity Shotgun [1] with EA or Spell enchantments.

Gatling Gun

Auto-Attack Eternal Chain - LDR% or CAB for maximum damage output. The fire and forget play. DPS is based on Chain Action/Eternal Chain and Quick Draw Shot. But not intensive use as Revolvers because of the high ATK bonus you can stack with Gatling Gun. Namely; Gatling Fever > Madness Canceller or Platinum Alter or Heat Barrel.

Auto-Attack Critical - CB, this is only for fun build. This is heavily outdamaged by other skills/ builds.

Triple Action - Recently updated! Use LDR% build for this. ASPD/ Cast animation speed dependent. Uses 1 Spirit Sphere per cast. Skill Type version of Auto-Attack Eternal Chain (Not Affected by Double Attack Damage Modifiers).

Round Trip - LDR%/ CB/ CAB. Mostly used just for farming and for crowd control.

Fire Rain - Actually deals high amount of damage when hit. Recommended LDR% but other builds can use it as well. REMOVES ALL TYPES OF GROUND SPELL/TRAPS! Even that pesky PNEUMA!

Grenade Launcher

Note: Grenade Launcher Build is like the "Caster Type" of Rebellion. 100% Relies on offensive skills for massive damage output. It is advised to use LDR% Build for all types of skills.
You can modify your stat distribution to;
Main Stats: DEX, STR, INT
Sub Stats: AGI, VIT

Highest is DEX of course, followed by STR due to most Grenade Launcher skills are customized in LeikaRO to scale with STR and the heavy weight catalysts/ammo you need to carry. INT for sp requirements. Highly advised to use with Service for You & Poem of Bragi. Just use ASPD Potions if cast animation speed becomes a problem.

New Mechanic: Sphere Loading
- No longer replaces Bullets and has a completely separate loading mechanic. Basic thought of Bullets = Auto Attacks; Spheres = Skills.
Ex. You can auto attack with grenade launchers with Bullets but you can't use skills without the Spheres.

Howling Mine - Requires Projection Landmine Catalyst and Flicker to trigger detonation. Detonation sequence ONLY WORKS WHEN IT HITS THE TARGET. The EXPLOSION goes through Parrying, Auto-Guard, Weapon Blocking, Cast-Off Cicada Shell and Defender.

Dragon Tails - A high scaling ATK skill that hones to marked targets by Crimson Marker (Can hit all 3 marked targets independently). This skill can Miss.

Bind Trap - One of the best traps in game but hard to use. Ignores DEF, FLEE and Reductions. Scales with caster's DEX + foe's current HP. If the enemy is MVP, uses caster's MAX HP instead. The 1 thing to take note of is the massive MSPD reduction it does to enemies, especially on high levels as it affects MVPs as well. You cannot place the trap on obstructed surfaces/ MUST be clear of obstructions/ cannot overlap/stacked. Use lower levels for smaller traps if you are having a hard time placing it down.

Below are the Combos to achieve maximum dps/ Skills to be used. This is to maximize the after-cast delay some skills give when used.

Howling Dragon

Fling > Crimson Marker > Howling Mine > Dragon Tail > Flicker

Howling Dragon Trap

Bind Trap > Fling > Crimson Marker > Lure to Trap > Howling Mine > Dragon Tail > Flicker

Spread Shot - Only fun with Poem of Bragi. Mediocre damage, but good for AoE when spammed.

Ground Drift - Recently updated. Acts like a trap/ can be stacked but does not detonate all at once because of the knockback/ spammable through ASPD/ Cast Animation Speed. Scales with base level above 100. The skill applies the status effect of the equipped sphere on its explosion radius BY CHANCE. This skill goes through Parrying, Auto-Guard, Weapon Blocking and Cast-Off Cicada Shell.

Ranking of Weapon Gameplay

What gun/s should i go for? Is it for solo or for team play?

Everything is Team Play when you're in a party. As stated earlier, you will have enough skill points to cater 2-3 guns. Each gun has its own pros and cons, here i will share my experience on what gun is best to use. This is based on my personal opinion and experience. Do not let this stop you from doing what you like to do.

Commonly Used

Rifle x Shotgun x Gatling Gun Combo (Solo/Team Play)

- This combo guarantees you with AoE/Crowd Control, Efficient Farming, Single Target and MVP DPS. Perfect for Solo or Team Play.

Rifle x Shotgun Combo (Solo/Team Play)

- Almost similar but gives you extra points to get Slug Shot & Hammer of God and Bind Trap

Rarely Used

Revolvers x Rifle Combo (Solo/Team Play)

- Has synergy since some skills can be used with these weapons. You will still have access to AoE skills and heavy Single Target/ MVP firepower.

Revolvers x Shotgun Combo (Solo/ Team Play)

- You will still have access to AoE skills and heavy Single Target/ MVP firepower.

Revolvers x Gatling Gun Combo (Solo)

- Full force Chain Action Build with efficient farming ability

Rifle x Gatling Gun Combo (Solo)

- Mostly Rifle for DPS, gatling is just for farming.

Epicly Used

1 Gun Play

- Ok...why not?

Legends Only

Grenade Launchers (???)

- I haven't seen any veterans use grenade launchers, even myself. Even if there are veterans who say "i use it!", my question is how long til you give up on it? The reason is because the Setup to do DPS is too long and missing the target will 100% ruin the detonation sequence/ combo (ThaTs ThE ReAsoN wHY It wAs BuFFeD to HaVe ThE HiGhesT hIT BonUs OuT oF aLL thE GuNs). Has it's own STAT build, making you not able to use other guns to it's full potential. But hey, at least you're a mule now because of your high carry weight! It's good, Fun to use! but you will soon experience why "Not".

How to play from scratch/Questions and Answers

What to wear?

- "I want that one!", "I need the gear you suggested to be op!", "It's so hard to get the items in your guide!". What i suggested is for endgame content. Right now focus with what you have. As i said earlier, the class are natural damage powerhouse due to the raw WATK the weapon gives. The Eden Group gear you get will start you off good, then farm in your spare time to get the equipment that makes your character last! A simple slotted garment with raydric card, a slotted armor with an elemental resist card/ max hp% card will do the job well!. Aim for end game items but don't drown in death ranking. Build your character well and the things you want in game will eventually come!

How to level?

- Same old ragnarok same ways to level. Do quest/ grind whatever makes you comfortable! But if you want to skip it all and go directly to "Rebellion" class, once you change to "Gunslinger", do Port Malaya - Cautious Village Quest to instantly level up to 90-97 Base/ 60 Job. If i am wrong, just do the some Eden/ Prontera board quest to max it out.

- Lvl 100 - Lvl 120: By this time you should farm the zeny to buy Rebellion Weapons located at the 2nd floor Gunslinger Guild (Garrison's Room). Though the weapons you get are just lvl 2-3, It has high enough WATK that will make you dish out huge damage. You can practically solo most of the Eden/ Prontera Boards at this point. If you level up your Slug Shot or Bind Trap, you can technically start killing Easy MVPs like Eddga, Orc Hero, Etc. Slowly building up your knowledge and skill on how to kill, you will gradually increase your MVP count from Easy to Medium to Hard MVPs.

-Lvl 120 - 160: You can still solo content but with a little challenge now. By this time you should spend the time getting consumables, resistances; cards/gears etc, that will help you move forward even more. Mostly having resistance cards to each element or weapon cards that deals bonus damage to a specific monster race. At Lvl 120 you will gain access to Illusion Dungeons; These are dungeons with buffed up versions of mobs in certain areas. You will gain big chunks of exp/lvls when you finish the quests here (Prontera Board Quest + NPC Quests). This is by far the fastest method of leveling from this level range. It is best to play with a party to be efficient in clearing the quests and of course build relationships! Best way to play Ragnarok is with friends!

- By lvl 145 you can now even share with maxed out players/ veterans! This is the part where you get most of your endgame content, take the time to learn the instances and strategies to be successful. Rinse and repeat, you will eventually max out your character. (Max Lvl 175)

So hard! Hue~

- Don't be afraid to ask for help (if there are people available). Most of the time people will want someone to play with, so you will get the job done easily. If you are having a hard time killing something, try to learn how the monster/enemy work and prepare yourself. Gear up/ stock up and fight it head-on again until you succeed!

Face Reality

- There will be classes that play better than Rebellion, and there are parts in game where Rebellion will excel. You need to face this fact. It is all the same with all classes in game. Try to explore! The more you play something, the better you will understand the game! There will also be players who have better knowledge/ experience about the game, don't be afraid to ask for help/ guides on how to do things. Eventually, you will see yourself being that person with all that knowledge of the game and help other people as well. It's the LeikaRO cycle.
