Brothers & Magic Scholar, Eclage Quest incomplete

There is a long quest chain that continues off from the entrance quest into Eclage (http://irowiki.org/w..._a_Strange_Land). The quest afterwards doesn't have an iROwiki entry, but continues afterwards from talking to Kardui.

• In part of the quest, you enter que_avan01 and there is a Desk npc. To proceed you must solve the book puzzle in the dialogue options. It's possible to complete but the dialogue during input isn't really functional, so you have to guess what it wants you to do. (It says something along the lines of putting Book 0 into Spot 1 for all 5 steps)
• After completing this portion of the quest, Kardui seems to reward you with experience. I forgot @showexp and am max level, so I'm not sure if EXP is actually given for this quest given how poorly implemented Eclage quests are.
• Continuing from that point, eventually the Chief of Staff warps you to ecl_hub01 where he is supposed to be, along with a warp. It's supposed to generate a small instance dungeon in order to proceed with the quest. Both of these things are missing so there's no way to continue the quest. In fact, there's no portals whatsoever on this part of the map so you have to butterfly wing out if you're stuck. Quest entry is QUEST: Orb's lighting room; Not sure why the chief of staff kept trying to lure me into the Orb's lighting room, but decided to go there even just to figure out why. Let's go along with what he wants for now.
