Eden Equipment Quests & Oboro/(Kagerou?)

Doing the equipment quests as ninja gives you the huuma or dagger no problem.
If you forget to do it and go back after changing to oboro (unsure about Kagerou) you don't get a weapon when you finish it.
This happened to me in Beta but I overlooked it. It's happened to two other people as well since then.
