Can't insert card into Ribbon Magic Hat[1]

Yea, as the title says, I can't insert any cards into the headgear Ribbon Magic Hat (obtained from kawaii headgear merchant). If I have no other slottable hats in my inventory nothing happens when i press the cards. If i have other slottable hats, then all hats show up except this one.
