AB can use oratio to pinpoint the location of any lurkers. Late game you are expecting any class to have a horong card or AOEs ready for these situations.

GX you got their various poisons to exploit but likewise do sneak atks (he who hits first with crazy aspd win logic).
Sura will lock ppl with CC and are deadly with TC/GOH/Gfist. Easily counterable by a sorcerer.
Shadow Chasers can use enemies as shields and play DD or physical as a killer.

RK are mass buffers with the heavy cost of mats for rune making.

Genetics are weapon/armor breakers but AD is indeed deadly. Their fire expansion buffs (smoke powder and tear gas) are pretty useful in a pvp scenario. Howling of mandragora would make most casters look stupid. (Tip: That is an anti-shadow formation tactic)
FCP is used to protect equips.
Drawbacks: Heavy amount of mats for upkeep.

RG - The Crusader buffs already make this at the bare minimum a tank and support. Give them 190 ASPD and a ranged bash skill and watch them own the battlefield. They can also break equips much more easily now so please put on golem cards or valk armors.

Maestro - From the time he was a bard everyone was forced to wear a marc or ED carded armor. If paired with another and they bragi each other expect a spam of frost jokes.

Wanderer - Not sure whether swing dance will be the same as in cookieRO which was one of the methods to put my GX at 191 ASPD.


Things that are not accounted for when respawning since the npcs at town aren't there:
Broken equipment that needs repairing
Mounts removed thanks to a shadow chaser
A mado lost to using SD.

You can recall mado here, which is a nice change. Still be on SD cooldown though.

Also, as you're allowed to carry buffs into BG, performers can be linked and spam whatever they want solo and people can FCP before BG starts. Harmonise and Swing Dance are great to have but performers are extremely squishy and I'm yet to see how good the deep sleep and siren buffs are here.

I think I'd rather have any AB stick to Lex/Laudas/Clearance (and maybe silence too, depending on how much int people roll with the new resistance) as boxes of sunlight are a lot more convenient than oratio.

Tested Fire Trap here, felt kind of lacking. Seemed to have 100% burn chance, but not the strong one mechs have. Also only did around 5k with ~1 second cd. I doubt rangers will be much good in woe or bg, but can only wait and see I guess. Warg can be pushed to do a lot more (20k+ with good gear), but I'm pretty sure it gets reduced a lot too. Unlimited is still strong, but the cd is nasty, it isn't as much of a boost as on other pservers and it drops your def/mdef to 1.

Thats the point. If everything was really equal and the same there would be just draws. Balance is when boths sides have just the same potential. Seeing who uses it better is the reason we have competition.

Change of topic. What do you think about portal defense in WoE castles?

Spawn on one cell (current system):
1) Attackers can cast pneuma or LP for everyone on that one tile.
2) Portal casters are ready for you (in a bragi or LP aoe)
3) Loki's Veil is probably over the spawn point as well as slow grace.
4) They probably have GX poisons, ankle snares and perhaps SD alts backed up in case of a "leak".
5) Attackers are stacking on same tile to split damage of aoe blasts.
6) Cursed circle those trying to escape loki's veil.
7) If the defending team can do it fast enough, get a soul linker to buff the guardians and lure to entrance.

Spawn in a random position of the entrance (assume 19x19):
1) Pre-cast portal traps are much less likely to affect the target. In fact they could be open to being attacked by their surroundings.
2) Unlikelyhood of single tile stacking but will take full dmg from aoes.
3) It's a warzone without loki veil or slow grace! Has anyone forgotten that Warlocks have instant cast and Mechanics could SD on the spot?!
4) Offensive LP is useless when everyone is spawning in a random tile of a 19x19 area. Defensive LP from outside spawn area may be slightly more useful.
5) Leaks!! All GX, Shadow Chasers, suras, tanks or anyone that eats a speed pot is very likely to walk past through or around the casting team. In fact it may be wiser to move back the casters to the guardian stones where there are narrow corridors.
