Alas, our previous topic mystewiously disappeared.
So post whatever music you're listening to, whichever song is on your mind, or just an old favorite you feel like sharing!
So this past Friday evening, I went to my local symphony orchestra. For the first time ever, they were holding a Messiah Sing-along! The audience would sing the chorus sections of Handel's Messiah (Professional singers in Alto, Soprano, Tenor, and Bass handled the solo parts), and we were seated according to our vocal range (I was seated in the bass section, if you were curious).
Hundreds of people showed up to sing, so it was quite a lot of fun. The Hallelujah chorus was my favorite part of the show, everybody got really into singing it (Should have heard the applause after that last Hallelujah!). Choir-type stuff like this isn't typically my thing, but I really did enjoy myself.
King of kings, and Lord of lords~,
King of kings, and Lord of lords~,
And he shall rein for ever, for ever and ever,
For ever, and ever, for ever, and ever,
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hal-le-lu-jah!
