Alas, such is life. I downloaded the full client from Mega, and ran the AesirRO Patcher after extracting the file. When I try to open the client through the patcher, it closes out and nothing happens.

 

If I try to run the AesirRO.exe directly, this happens:

 

 

Can anybody offer any suggestions on what to do?

You are supposed to open the launcher, not that exe.

 

Try running it as administrator.

Mmhm, running the Patcher as Administrator indeed did the trick.

 

Usually it runs programs as administrator by default, but I guess it didn't this time~.

Provide me some infos:

-Using full installer?
-Which OS?
-Is it on a "fresh" directory or copied over something else?

Windows 7 32 bit

Fresh, I just renamed the 'RO' folder to 'AesirRO' and moved out of 'AesirRO client' folder

I'm living in dorm so I could try to ask admin to unblock ports or something is this would be the case. But yeah, I don't have much power over my 'internet settings' here.

Yeah, I guess your port is being blocked :\

Ask for your network admin if he can open up port 6900 for you, this should fix the problem.

Either way try being under proxy, but I think I didn't allow clien to do that, so it could not be working.

Just checked. Most likely everything is blocked except ports used by mail, http and other protocols needed to just browse web. Fucking shit.
