based on my 4 months playing experience, alot of issues i still find annoying because of all the
non-official MVP updates. some of few reasons i find frustrating:
- GMs would sometimes watch your performance when MVPing then later add
non-official skills to them as a form of performance sarcasm (which happened more
than 10 times as i experienced).
- changing mob races of some MVPs to unofficial ones make things harder to tank.
(just a recent issue)
- spawn counts in some nightmare dungeons are needlessly that many.
- the quality of difficulty is some kind of a college school where no one should graduate that easy.
(that being a pro isnt enough)
AFAIK, playing RO should be in a middle-ground difficulty where both pros and non-pros
who are still adopting renewal can deal with. And as a game dev which i'm aware that
no one will play a seemingly-impossible game without giving them a rope to climb,
everything are a little nerfed in your side, and the monsters seems buffed more than 3x, giving new players
that kind of impression.
The market prices also tells the difficulty of the game due to the fact that either:
- these MVPs requires more effort to kill them than usual
- it requires more people to kill an MVP than usual
- bio 3 and 4 seems like a dungeon impossible to raid even by a party of 12
P.S.: The more the GMs know about how people do well in game,
the more these sarcastic patches/updates will be hiddenly added.
