Hello everyone for one more suggestion of mine /heh

 

Well what is it now you ask ?

 

Well, it's simple just a minor change that can make the game a tiny little bit better, or complete Over power that can kill MVPS with only one shoot !!! (oh good tag, gonna add it)

 

Well, it's about some autocast weapons like Fireblend, Ice Falchion, Hell Fire, and such.

What they do is auto cast some skill while you are atacking and thoses skills rely on matk most of the time.

 

But since renewal came atk, matk got all screwd up and things changed, so well the damage formulas where matk relies more on INT than on equips and atk more on STR than weapon atk it self (now is complety inverted).

 

Well so let's see Fireblend, a Level 4 Weapon, fire elemental, 100  atk, "Enables use of Level 3 Fire Bolt.
Add a 10% chance of auto casting Level 3 Fire Bolt on the enemy when attacking."

 

And it's equipable by " Swordsman/ Merchant/ Thief" classes only

                                 

Well, seems nice right ? except than Eden equipment offer WAY better stats and it's free.

 

So why still have this thing when you can equip a better weapon for only doing a leveling quest ? it's complety useless !!!

 

Since even with 90 INT a second tier class, it's part of damage does puny matk for any mob and such, that's because the renewal change that make Weapon Matk more important than INT it self.

 

So, my suggestion is: Increase/give thoses weapons as well other autocast weapons some matk so it's help it making more usefull.

 

Think about what bad can happen to a Auto Shadow Spell chaser can do with only a weak weapon autocasting 1 more skill (CD in mouth is a Cash shop item, it IS OP !!!), but for new begginers it could open new horizons to builds and such.

 

Well, something between 50 - 100 more matk (depends on devs and people feedback, that helps tons of this weapons, and make them more usefull, because, theres no reason to use them with such low atk and low skill it's auto cast when theres better weapons out there.

It would be fun for pve. Mvp its still gonna be useless, same as any pvp variation. Dont see the problem here

Sure, why not. Still, lvl 3 fire bolt will be shit no matter if you'll have just 25 matk from refines or 125 matk from refines. In other words: not worth the effort.

True true, altought at +10 it's gives something around that matk, think when the devs give (or may not) a bonus to matk to those weapons.
It's can be easy attained nearly 200 matk for a weapon (of course not every newbie could make it to +10 and it's what i mean, completely useless for PvM (and maybe even other scenarios), but mix that with:

Sin dual wield(400~matk) + fast aspd + other autocast equips = Hell

Skills that relies on matk like aura blade for Rune Knights, Soul Destroyer from SinX and such maybe get a HUGE boost to it.
But of course: that's is for a OVER UPGRADED weapon, and it will make some of them get erased from game for the Break System of the refines (yup, it's was mean to break some items for store don't get over saturated), and it maybe no big deal from the beginning but it can be a head hurt if not taken well cautions.

That's is only what i believe, of course a HWizard that can upgrade a Staff of Destruction to +10 still woud be better for these things, but it would be like a slap in the face of autocast sages that can't do much damage from handsight purely.

When i saw thoses weapons stuck at the Market i could only think about a way to make them be usefull again (like was in classic where pure brewing alchemists level up with their homunculus killing Geographers "old times feeling"), but to see something OP for the future, well it would be better left like that.
People and GMs should treat this with care for "more fun/balanced" purposes.

This could probably boost the practicality of some builds like a Battle Bishop just a little bit which are more for fun than for practicality.  /no1

Are you fucking retarded? Have you ever used it? Most of this shit has low chance for autocast, it autocasts low lvl of skill. This shit even after buff will be far away from OP. To make this shit even any useful you'd have to increase autocast chance to something like 10-20%, give all those weapons like base 200matk and make them autocast max skill lvl.
The only thing that was any good was double ele sword SinX, and it was good only when ele swords were bugged and casted inflated number of bolts.
Really, to make it any useful you'd have to make big changes in those weapons. It just isn't worth it.

-1, new gear is meant to surpass old gear get over it or you will be forced in a cycle of having to revamp all gear before the new episodes which will only waste time.  This is just sending the GM team in the wrong direction: Overcustomization. Which will make people leave/ seem not interested in playing the server.

adding matk to 10 weapons is like 10 minutes work at most. Can hardly call this overcustomization.

Oh btw did you know we already adjusted the server to a billion things different from either official. DID you know we have iro kro and jro things mixed alltogether?

C'mon. This is overstatement. Nobody will use those shit weapons anyway. If anything, shit like status resistance/immunity would be a good reason to quit, not some shitty weapons being buffed to the point they're still shitty.

I think people forget that certain gears are usable for certain level ranges and think that if something is weak for their 3rd class then it's something bad. It's not. I'm using shit like fireblends and schweizersabels (mainly for perma endows) to lvl up alts. Then, when they have high enough lvl for some 3rd class weapon or just get something better then throw the old weapon into kafra/give it away and use the new, better one. It's normal that you don't get best gears from early content.

Not to mention that this change is just waste of time and effort.

Maybe give a matk boost to eden armour or hats or other low level gear making it relevant to lower level people. But yeah seems very unimportant, low priority stuff.

True, makes sense.... but why would a weapon drop from a mvp and just get sold it to a npc ? where is the sense on a unique weapon that only can be dropped from MVP and is worse than most NPC weapons ? also... this is a private server, it's supposed to have a few custom to make it more fun and make people stay, that's why i suggested it, and not work the inverse XD
(Btw don't think free healer, teleporter, Market npc, custom shops, custom custom shop it's a lot custom ? maybe they should nerf that so people will not leave because many useful npc).

The part where its says that take time of the GM to add this custom is also important. When they could fix bugs, prepare the next episode, add other more useful customs, they would have the solo hard work to change items scripts and add this custom to weapons, its also take time to test it as well, and if its gonna work or not. Time should be taken with caution when talking about a starting server that have plenty of time to work on suggestions.

Worse for the party of there's already enchants and that would also boost the matk from magic classes.

 

And yup, this topic have been taged as HOT /gg that's shows that people might care for it (or not many people saying to just leave it alone /heh ), but like many people   said and agreed, that is only to make the game more fun at early levels and maybe give a little boost to later levels on, if this custom take a enormous effort from the staff to make it happen, then it should take the right priority based on the admins will. With this change it's open new branches to people try different build and maybe give that worst class a change to be played with, and start another char, also think that the 100 people on atm are most experienced players, when the servers grows it will make new things possible and maybe this little custom, might be the difference between this server or another one (just imagine the title "revamped weapons", might cause on people, right maybe too custom and worse, but maybe not).

 

if that's only give work and maybe don't be good at all, then it should be left behind, but think with care about this /no1
