Teleportation is disabled on this map.
Background and Lore
According to the scholars who studied the place, it isn't a new location but rather a glimpse into the past. The incident that happened in this little village centuries ago, caused such strong resentment from those who perished that it was forever imprinted into the existence. This process is very similar to what causes the appearance of ghosts, residual energies bound to a place by strong emotions, but on a large scale. Even tangible matter was replicated and it's hard to discern this realm of phantasmal madness from a real location.
As for the purpose of such a twisted creation, perhaps it is a way for those ancestors of Payon's people to remind their descendants of what occurred in a distant past.
The Church of Odin established an outpost here in order to investigate the happenings, pacify the walking corpses and liberate damned souls.
The help of daring adventurers will surely be welcomed.
Tips
This dungeon is intended as a party zone, as such it can be tough to tackle alone if you're in the intended level range. As teleportation is disabled, don't bite more than you can chew and advance carefully.
The two minibosses, Maddened Adventurer and Truthful Wizard are considerably difficult, employing a wide array of skills one would expect from their classes.
Those two are directly linked to the repeatable quests and item crafting but also provide great loot and experience by default.
The big boss of the place, Ireful Moonlight Flower can be a tough nut to crack even for a party of geared players at maximum level.
She specializes on disables and inflicting constant streams of heavy damage while also impairing the party with skills like Wide Lex Aeterna and Wide Chill.
Monsters
As this dungeon features a safe zone, monsters will never spawn inside of it. Ireful Moonlight Flower, Maddened Adventurer and Truthful Wizard all have fixed spawn points (within certain coordinates)
and will teleport back to their area if lured away, which is often followed by a full heal.

Crafting
Bishop Eleazar
This servant of Freyja was sent here on a specific mission; to investigate the mechanics that bind the fallen villagefolk to the place, as well as the nature of the demon that started it all. He's been rooted by the Church of Odin though, as they exercised their full authority over the village and prevent him from gaining any knowledge related to the incident, old grudges run deep. With so much free time, he instead figured out how to create some amazing yet unstable equipment, the same pieces you can obtain from the monsters in the zone. The bishop can imitate the natural corruption that affects such equipment in a controlled environment, a spirit forge he's found abandoned.
All you have to do is provide him with the base item as well as some materials found around the zone. He'll craft them for free to the boot as he has nothing better to do.
