Overview
The Archbishop is considered a fairly high ranking member of the Church of Odin. They have dedicated themselves completely to their faith and to helping those in need and as such, their holy powers are considerably stronger than lower ranking members. Most Archbishops tend to lean toward the supportive path, as they have a wide variety of skills that allow them to aid their allies, particularly in large groups; many single-target buffs and healing skills now have party-wide counterparts, and they can now cure more Status Effects than they had been able to before. Of course, that isn't to say that Archbishops become pacifists upon receiving their new title. Just as they can help their allies, their holy magics also allow them to smite their foes with even more force before. While perhaps not as common as their supportive counterparts, battle-oriented Archbishops have been seen all across Midgard.
Archbishops excel at PvM content as supportive positions in parties. Some areas in Midgard are simply too dangerous to enter without having such a ranked member of the church in a party. Depending on how an Archbishop chooses to focus their talents, they may find that participating in PvP-related content or adventuring by themselves may be too difficult, as their religious training does not include as much study in offensive skills as other kinds of adventurers.
Job Changing
A Priest or High Priest wishing to become an Archbishop must undergo several trials that will test their spiritual resolve and religious education. They will have to complete:
- A holy pilgrimage
- A prayer for the blessing of the gods
- Granting relief to a tormented Valkyrie

The Full Support Archbishop is the quintessential "priest." They can heal the most grievous wounds, provide various buffs and counter various debuffs and Status Effects.
