Overview

A shield exclusive skill that casts one random predefined spell based on the currently equipped Shield's base defense, magic defense, and upgrade level, respectively. Only one spell from Shield Spell can be active at any time. Successfully casting another skill from Shield Spell including offensive ones will override any other Shield Spell buff.

Buffs casted from Shield Spell are not cancelled when the shield is unequipped. It will last for the full duration or until:

If a player has a shield with, for example, 0 MDEF, equipped, and tries to cast Shield Spell Lv. 2, nothing will happen.

Level 1 spells (DEF based)

  • Spell 1: Deals Neutral property damage around Self. Knocks them back 2 cells.
    • ATK: [{(Base Level * 4) + (Shield DEF * 10)} + (VIT * 2)] %
    • 3x3 when Shield DEF is 0 ~ 40.
    • 5x5 when Shield DEF is 41 ~ 80.
    • 7x7 when Shield DEF is 81+.
  • Spell 2: Reflects melee attacks. (Does not work against Bosses).
    • Duration: [Shield DEF] seconds.
    • Reflect rate: [Shield DEF / 10] %
  • Spell 3: Increases ATK for the spell duration.
    • Duration: [Shield DEF * 3] seconds.
    • ATK Bonus: [Shield DEF]


Level 2 spells (MDEF based)

  • Spell 1: Deals Holy property magic damage around Self.
    • MATK: [{(Base Level * 4) + (Shield MDEF * 100)} + (INT * 2)] %
    • 3x3 when Shield MDEF is 1 ~ 3.
    • 5x5 when Shield MDEF is 4 ~ 5.
    • 7x7 when Shield MDEF is 6+.
  • Spell 2: Casts Lex Divina around Self.
    • Duration: [Shield MDEF * 30] seconds.
    • 3x3 when Shield MDEF is 1 ~ 3.
    • 5x5 when Shield MDEF is 4 ~ 5.
    • 7x7 when Shield MDEF is 6+.
  • Spell 3: Casts Magnificat.

Level 3 spells (Refine based)

  • Spell 1: Allows you to break armor at a 100% rate when you do damage.
    • Duration: [Shield Ref. Rate * 30]
  • Spell 2: Increases DEF and Status Effect resistance depending on Shield refine rate
    • Duration: [Shield Ref. Rate * 20] seconds.
    • DEF Bonus: [(Shield Ref. Rate * 10) + (Base Level / 100)]
    • Status Effect Resistance: [(Shield Ref. Rate * 2) + (LUK / 10)] %
  • Spell 3: Recovers HP depending on Shield refine rate.
