Description

Lays down a powerful movement impairing trap which greatly reduces Movement Speed of all affected targets.
Duration is decreased based on the affected target's STR.
Can be detonated with Flicker to deal high, DEF, FLEE and Reductions ignoring Neutral property damage based
on learned skill's level and caster's DEX plus foe's current HP, or caster's if the affected target is a Boss monster.
Slowed targets that are caught in the detonation range, will have the status removed.
Only 1 Binding Trap can be active at a time.
The damage is unaffected by Lex Aeterna.
Ignores the effect of Devotion.

Notes

  • Binding Trap cannot be set if there are any units inside its expected Area of Effect.
  • Setting Binding Trap while the caster has one currently active does nothing.
  • If the caster does not use Flicker and detonate the trap before the duration expires, 1 Special Alloy Trap will be dropped to the ground near the target area.
  • Active Binding Traps cannot be attacked.
  • Due to the trap's increasing layout, hotkeying lower levels can prove useful for when there's no space to place a higher level one.
  • The damage formula for Binding Trap (normal targets) is:
  Damage = (10 * Caster's DEX) * (Binding Trap's level + 10) + Targets's current HP / 4
  • The damage formula for Bind Trap (Boss targets) is:
  Damage = (20 * Caster's DEX) * (Binding Trap's level + 20) + Casters's current HP
  • The full formula for the status effect duration is:
  Effect Duration = Status Duration - Target's STR * 0.05 seconds
