Overview

Katars are weapons that are exclusively used by Assassins. They are always two-handed, so adventurers cannot wield one and a Shield at the same time. The skills Sonic Blow and Grimtooth can only be used while a katar is equipped. Katar-type weapons have Critical rates doubled. Despite the fact that katar-wielding Assassins have a blade in each hand, the weapon counts as a single two-handed weapon rather than two dual-wielded weapons, which means that Righthand Mastery and Lefthand Mastery have no effect on katars.
